Meet our womens health team
Mercy Physiotherapy at SJOG Hospital Mt Lawley is uniquely placed to provide care to a wide range of women throughout all stages of the lifespan. We provide treatment to those who are inpatients following caesarean and vaginal births as well as post-gynaecological surgery. We endeavour to see every woman post-delivery for a quick chat and treat on referral. We prioritise breast feeding problems and will always assess and treat on the day.
In the outpatient setting we are happy to provide babysitting to ensure treatment is accessible for all women. Our outpatient services can assist men, women and children with pelvic floor dysfunction. We also undertake pre-operative prostate education and male pelvic floor assessments.
If you wish to book in a postnatal assessment following the birth of your baby we also offer a thorough assessment, including real time ultrasound of your pelvic floor. A postnatal assessment is vital to ensure your pelvic floor function is optimal and can treat existing issues you may be having post-birth and also reduce pelvic floor dysfunctions from occuring in the future.

- Overactive bladder
- Bed wetting/pediatric incontinence
