Mercy Physiotherapy offers many different types of treatment that can be beneficial to you, postnatally.

Our qualified practitioners continue to assist with conditions such as mastitis, caesarean scar pain, perineal tears, urgency to pass urine and cracked nipples, that may have been identified after having your baby. It is important to do exercises to strengthen your pelvic floor and abdominal muscles whilst you are pregnant, but it is also important to continue these exercises after the birth of your baby. Our practitioner can assess your pelvic floor after birth (usually 6 weeks postnatal) and advise on appropriate types of exercise you can be doing to strengthen your pelvic floor and abdominal muscles.
